James Potts was bondsman for George Maddocks m. to Elizabeth Potts on 22 Feb. 1816 [bond]

James Potts was bondsman for John Davidson and Nancy Potts 4 Oct. 1817 [bond]

James M. Potts m. 28 Jan. 1849 Margaret Fox.

Heirs: Henry Potts, James Potts, Priscilla Fox w/o Elijah Fox, Elizabeth w/o George Matten, Mary Potts alias Hood, John, William, Stephen Potts, Rhoda Jane Potts, James Madison Potts, Elijah Potts, Murfrey Potts, George Clinton Potts, John Franklin Potts, children of George Potts, deceased; as son of James, Josiah and Samuel Davidson children of Nancy Davidson, deceased, a daughter of James Potts; Jane Davis, wife of James Davis, Allen Beard, William Beard, John Beard, James Beard, Moses Beard and Mary Potts wife of ----?,  D. Potts, children of Margaret Beard, deceased daughter of James Potts. Calvin Davidson, James Davis and Jane his wife and John Beard have executed a deed.
