Died 16 or 20 June 1862 Houston, Texas Co. MO from fever. Mary Ann was living in 1870 in Osage Township. Laclede Co.  

John Munhollen b. ca. 1841 in Laclede Co. MO; wife Diana m. 11 Feb. 1861 He d. 20 Feb. 1862 in Lebanon. Wife resided in Van Burn Co. Iowa m. (2) John C. Herriman. Applied for pension.

A:70. 3 September 1851, Daniel A. Fletcher and wife Nancy (b. 1820 in Missouri) sold Samuel Monhollen all right, title and interest in the SW of SW of 28-34-14 subject to sale of land at Springfield, Missouri.

 

B:547. 28 September 1859, Josiah M. James and wife, Nancy Ann sold Abraham Munhollen SW of SW of 28-34-14 containing 30 acres with 2 acres to be held out of the SW corner.

B:299 1859 12 May 1859, James McHollin and wife Luticia of Laclede sold the NE of SE of 27-34-14 to Lewis Keedy. He obtained this by federal entry issued 1857 as James Monhollen.

B:286.  28 April 1859 Izair Munholen and wife Marthey Caroline for $100 cold Samuel E. Stroup the NW of NE of 36-34-14. As Isaiah Monhollen entered this in 1859.

Peter Brant vs. Hugh Munholland, Sam, Monholland and Abraham Monholland for surety of the peace. Nothing further.

 

The Commonwealth by Nancy Tyler in April 1823 p. 156-157.

Vs. James Monholland, Abr. Monhollen and Elizabeth Monhollon. The prosecutor failed to appear so defendants discharged and prosecutor to pay costs.

 

April 1829 p. 409 Commonwealth by John Hall Ordered that Samuel Monhollen make his fine to the Commonwealth by payment of $5 for contempt offense to the authority of the court.

 

p. 411 Commonwealth vs. James Coker for profane swearing (6 counts) vs. Samuel Monholland for profane swearing 11 counts

Commonwealth vs. James Coker for charge of felony. He pled not guilty and, with Andrew Coker, placed bond to appear at the next term. P. 418.

 

Samuel through himself upon the mercy of the court and pled “inadvertency”…. Fine was remitted.

 p. 429 July term 1829

Commonwealth vs. J. Coker on felony. Deft. Failed to appear in discharge of their recognizance and they one more change to show cause why judgment should not be made.

 

Vs. Monhollon (same page) defent failed to appear therefore ordered by the court they appear at the next term to show cause why forfeiture should not be made. Never appeared.
